Science Meeting – Stem Cells: A Revolution in Brain Sciences
November 8, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The study of the human brain when it goes wrong is extremely challenging. Recently, neuroscientists have developed a new tool to assist them – stem cells. Dr Wood-Kaczmar will discuss the latest advances in the context of Huntingdon’s Disease, where the techniques being developed are also likely to be relevant to a much broader range of neurodegenerative disorders.
Dr Alison Wood-Kaczmar, UCL Institute of Neurology.
