Highgate Gallery was founded in 1994 and is housed in the 19th-century vaulted hall within the HLSI. There is good natural light. Work is hung on three sides of the hall, the fourth having a stage which is kept clear. The hiring fee for 2017 is £660 for a two-week period.

Highgate Gallery is run by a committee of artists, gallery managers and art collectors. The committee meets every two months and is always keen to see new work submitted for consideration. Selection dates in 2017 are: 11 Jan, 8 March, 10 May, 5 July, 13 September, 15 November

Opening Hours: Tuesday to Friday 1-5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm  and Sunday 11am-5pm 

Gallery closed: Monday

Admission free to all exhibitions  


Friends of Highgate Gallery receive information on all exhibitions, invitations to Private Views and occasional talks by artists and visits to special art collections.
